In 2006, Marinvest purchased Ulvön, the island protecting Ulvesunds hamn, close to Ljungskile, less than an hours drive north of Gothenburg. The acquisition gives a great opportunity for Marinvest to combine the development potentials of the marina and the island.

Marinvest expects to spend a few years on development of plans and permissions before any construction work can begin.

In the meantime, the business in the existing facilities on the island prevails; a nice seaside  hostel with  accomodation up to 100 guests, a complete up-to-date summer restaurant with panoramic sea view and adjoining meeting/conference facilities. Ideal for a summer holiday, a business conference, a weekend course, a wedding party or a jubilee!
